"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." Psalm 139:14

Dr. Gerber brings to Oregon and Tennessee, with the help of our True Physician, the knowledge and skill that fosters health and hope.

Dr. Gerber is licensed in the state of Oregon as a Doctor of Naturopathy, which is a form of Primary Health Care for the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health and the prevention of disease. She also holds a Masters in Acupuncture based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Both schools of medicine focus on treating the whole person and looking for the cause of disease, as opposed to treating merely the symptoms. She received her degrees from Bastyr University in 2008, the largest nationally accredited university of Natural Medicine in the USA, well known for its leading-edge research and clinical training.

Tennessee currently does not regulate or license Naturopathy or the practice of Natural Medicine. Therefore Dr. Gerber provides information and education in the form of health consultations, but does not diagnose, treat or cure any diseases for clients in Tennessee. As a Licensed Acupuncturist in Tennessee, Dr. Gerber is able to provide a holistic assessment, nutritional and herbal medicine recommendations, manual therapy and acupuncture. She also provides auricular acupuncture as detailed by Dr. Nogier and Dr. Soliman for the benefit of supporting healing from allergies, hormone imbalances, and more.

Dr. Gerber acquired a love for alternative medicine from a young age. Her father, Dr. Eugene Runne, DC, studied at and became Assistant Director of a Natural Medicine Institute in Guatemala, Instituto Naturista Adventista. Then after returning to the USA, he received a doctorate in Chiropractic, which he practices to this day in Maryville, TN. Celisha’s mother, Imara Runne studied at the same Natural Medicine Institute and was certified as a midwife. Their principles of holistic health were instilled in their four children, leading each one to search out a different area in the health field.

Celisha is happily married to Donaldo Gerber and has two precious children. In addition to spending time with family, Celisha enjoys traveling and experiencing other cultures. Her hobbies include spending time with family, learning new languages, studying the latest research in medicine, and meeting new people.

Celisha holds that quality of life requires maintaining one’s health on all levels: spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Her objective is to work with you to help you meet or even exceed your personal wellness goals.
